I was tripping harder than I ever had in my life. Three Rivers Stadium - Summer of 1995. Terrapin Station and the light show started out as pink, blue, and white clouds rolling at me and then transformed into millions of wide-eyed, open-mouthed, bald headed faces rolling back on each other with eyes cast skyward and expressions of rapture. I left the show and all the tie-dyed t-shirts showed me the same faces - then a guys back who didn't have a shirt on showed me the faces - then the WHOLE SPECTACLE! Then - there was Phil Kutno and his artwork. I bought it all - for $40. I don't have any of it anymore - I gave some of it away and then I left the last of it behind when I moved out of an apartment in Ann Arbor. But I plan to buy it all again because it was a perfect demonstration of what I was seeing/feeling/experiencing that night.
